Just off the phone from a long conversation with Peter Thomson of Ocean Independence who tells me that he and Michael White have signed the joint central agency for sale of Feadship's 46.3m Jana. "This is the third time we've been involved with her," he says, "We've already sold her twice over the years, the last time when she was called Montigne."
Built in 1986, Jana has recently had an extensive refit and a full paint job and is MCA compliant with an excellent charter record and world-girdling capability. She sleeps 10 guests in five suites including an on deck master and cruises at 13 knots. Available for inspection at the Monaco Yacht Show, Jana is asking $15.5 million.
