Rainmaker
I call Bryan Long at Westport Yacht Sales to congratulate him on the sale of his central agency listing, Westport's 34m Rainmaker, and he tells me that Barbara Stork of The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals introduced the buyers.
Sold by Barbara to a family of first-time buyers, Rainmaker_ _was delivered in 2001 and is a composite semi-displacement megayacht with a cruising speed of 20 knots and accommodates eight guests in four staterooms. The new owners have changed her name to Milk Money and will be offering her for charter through the Sacks Group in Florida and the Bahamas this winter. Bryan tells me that the asking price was $4.75 million.
