7 more 'seriously for sale' superyachts: good deals to launch the new year

Out of the 965 superyachts currently listed for sale on this site, there are a fair few whose owners are extremely motivated to sell. We highlighted 7 deals to be done in December and now here is another tranche of yachts that are ‘seriously for sale’ with keen prices and owners willing to negotiate for quick sales. As winter digs in and the buyers’ market prevails, there’s no better time to strike a deal and start making summer plans…

Nami | 2007 | 26.21m

Nami is a 26 metre sporty beauty of a yacht which can cruise at an amazing 36 knots, topping 46 knots at full throttle. The Azimut underwent an extensive refit in spring 2011 which saw her spruced up from bow to stern. Amongst a long list of improvements made, her engines, generators and Arneson drives were overhauled and serviced, her hull antifouled and treated and guest deck areas sanded and refurbished. Inside, carpets, flooring and soft furnishings were renewed, furniture, linen and crockery replenished and brand new kitchen appliances installed along with new air-conditioning and completely new audio-visual systems throughout. Last but not least she acquired a whole new stable of tenders and toys.

Broker Vesa Kaukonen at K&K Superyachts emphasises that she is ‘in perfect condition, and has been continually maintained’. What’s more, ‘The owner will let her go at a very interesting price if the sale is completed shortly, latest by end of January 2012′.

Anjilis | 2009 | 49.07m

Launched in 2009, Anjilis is a collaboration between builder Trinity and designer Glade Johnson, who gave her a rich, contemporary interior with exotic woods and luxurious art deco accents. A yachtsman’s yacht she has top-notch mechanical systems, twin Caterpillar engines that give her an 18 knot cruising speed and a maximum draught of just over 2.5 metres which makes most marinas and shallow coves and bays accessible to her.

All this and a series of hefty price reductions means Anjilis is now asking nearly $10 million less than when she was first put on the market. Frank Grzeszczak at International Yacht Collection notes that she is one of the most aggressively priced 49 metre Trinity yachts on the market today.

Temptation | 2005 | 37.49m

A 2005 Palmer Johnson with a 2009 refit, sleek Nuvolari Lenard exterior styling and exquisite cherrywood interior, _Temptation _is indeed a tempting prospect. She is in tip-top condition and ready to go places with a party of eight.

Jim Wallace at Edmiston & Company says the owner’s estate wants to see her sold soon and her recently reduced price reflects that.

IFA Cannes | 2007 | 27.4m

A combination of Italian flair with Fipa’s construction and engineering expertise makes the Maiora 27 a popular and desirable model, and this one has added charms including a contemporary interior with a bamboo finish, air-conditioning and underwater lights.

Says her broker William Molloy of Yachting Partners International: ‘IFA Cannes is by some distance the best-priced 27 metre flybridge on the market. An excellent example of the Maiora 27 model, she was launched in 2007. She is in excellent technical and cosmetic condition and has MCA certification, the optional second crew cabin and an attractive interior as well as many other extras including a US Shore Power converter. IFA Cannes is priced to sell, her owners are ready to negotiate and someone is going to get themselves a good deal.’

_Mangusta _| 2007 | 24.97m

Although she bears the name _Mangusta _this has nothing to do with the marque, for this yacht is a Predator 82, and one with the biggest Arneson drives/engine option propelling her to an eye-watering 46 knots. She accommodates eight guests in four cabins.

‘A truly exceptional example of the Predator 82 finished in a unique oak interior,’ says Harry Bristow-Holmes, her Sunseeker broker. ‘She is in excellent condition throughout and professionally maintained to the highest standards from new. Reduced to sell and ready to use she is a unique opportunity not to be missed. Lying in Italy and ready to view at a drop of the hat this is the bargain Sunseeker everyone has been waiting for!’

_Far Niente _| 2006 | 26.2m

One of Moonen’s pocket superyachts,_ Far Niente_ is compact but pretty, and has much going for her. Her four cabins accommodate eight guests, and up to 10 with two Pullmans, and to top it all she has a flybridge complete with barbecue and bimini. Her 3406E Caterpillar engines give her a respectable 2,800 nautical mile range at 11 knots.

Jeff Partin at Fraser Yachts highly recommends an inspection of this yacht which is lying in Hyeres, France. ‘She’s a beautiful Moonen with a modern interior – exceptional in every respect. Her seller is motivated and is open to trade for a 37 to 40 metre vessel.’

Galilee | 1995 | 32.31m

_Galilee _is a Westport 106 semi displacement motor yacht, designed by Jack Sarin and featuring a fishing cockpit. Her interior was designed by Sally Dills and accommodates 10 in a master, two doubles and two twins.

‘She is the by far the best priced Westport on the market,’ says her broker Frank Grzeszczak at IYC, and her price has just been reduced by her serious seller.
