The 111 metre superyacht Project TIS has been launched by Lürssen, as part of a busy month for the German yard, which has also launched 123 metre Project Jupiter and revealed an unnamed 130 metre superyacht in recent weeks.
Project TIS was styled inside and out by British studio Winch Design, and the superstructure features several curved sections that contrast with the straight lines created by the decks. Its launch on October 19 is remarkably quick, coming just 11 months after the keel was laid.
In a statement, the yard said: “With a long and well balanced sheerline, TIS is a supremely elegant yacht, despite the considerable size.”
The beam measures 16.85 metres, allowing for voluminous interiors across six decks, while the extensive exterior relaxation spaces make TIS an ideal yacht for hosting large parties.
Key features on board include sweeping superyacht staircases at the transom, which set the tone for a sophisticated interior design. The first official image (above) also hints at a number of superyacht balconies and a side-loading tender garage near the bow.
The 111 metre superyacht project is being managed by Moran Yacht & Ship, and she is slated for a 2018 delivery.
Further details are being kept under wraps for now, but it is understood that the steel displacement hull supports an aluminium superstructure, with everything built to Lloyd’s Registry standards.
