Italian shipyard Baglietto has signed an order for a new custom Fast44 motor yacht, with inspiration borrowed from the yard's newly restyled Fast range.
Created by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the 44-metre project builds on the classic lines of Baglietto's traditional fast aluminium yachts, such as the 46M Fast yacht Lucky Me. Paskowski was also joined by long-time collaborator Margherita Casprini to fashion the yacht's interiors.
The owner of this custom vessel has opted for a traditional layout within a five-cabin configuration. The main deck master cabin is located forward of the saloon's dining and lounge area, while two VIP double cabins and two single cabins—each with an additional berth—are found below, bringing the yacht's total party to ten guests.
Meanwhile, two fold-down balconies at the stern of the vessel create a generous sunbathing area around the pool, whereas the garage door can be converted into a swim platform as an extension of the beach club area housed within.
"This sale is a great accomplishment for us," said Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto, on the basis that it confirmed the yard's leadership in the market segment for high-performing yachts. "This 44-metre model came to life as a custom project, but it served as an inspiration for a whole line—the planing one, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design—which deepens its roots in the brand's DNA."
With a 43M Fast model currently in development, Ermetto revealed that the yard is continuing to develop its reimagined Fast line of yachts into the 48- to 50-metre size categories. According to BOATPro, a further nine projects are in build across Baglietto's La Spezia and Carrara sites, including its third 40-metre DOM 133 model, Perla Bianca, expected for delivery later this month.
