Fitting out begins on BSD98 motor yacht

Fitting out has now begun on the 29.76 metre BSD98 motor yacht, the first in the Logica range from Benetti Sail Division.

This new Benetti Sail Division hull is being constructed to RINA class with delivery expected in 2013. This slim trideck superyacht is characterised by a low and sharp design with large and continuous windows along the superstructure.

The yacht originally had a layout of four cabins but then the client asked for another and, thanks to the flexibility of the Benetti Sail Division approach it has been possible to find a proper space for a fifth cabin with the features of a VIP.

A sober and refined décor and style has been decided upon, which will be enhanced with the use of precious materials. Canaletto walnut will be used for the flooring and oak for the furniture, while all the bathrooms will be clad in marble.

On the technical side, twin 1,000hp MAN engines give to Aleica a top speed of 14.5 knots, a cruising speed of 13.8 knots and a range of 4,900 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Benetti Sail Division also has a round-stern 105 motor yacht under construction.
