Italian Sea Group sells Tecnomar Evo 115 to Asian owner

The first hull in the new Tecnomar Evo 115 series will be built in Marina di Carrara for an Asian owner after the Italian Sea Group sold the 35 metre superyacht project in an in-house deal.
Styled inside and out by naval architect Gian Marco Campanino, the Evo 115 will be the first Italian Sea Group yacht to be delivered to Asia, increasing the yard’s international sphere of influence.
Giuseppe Taranto, CEO of the Italian Sea Group, described the sale as “significant step forward”. Meanwhile Campanino explained that the design was specifically geared towards the Asian market:
“Sometimes we forget that the mentality and the kind of use of the yachts in those areas is totally different from what we have in mind," he added. "So we have to go their way and give them what they want.”
The yard revealed that hull number one in the Tecnomar Evo 115 series will have a three-cabin layout, with a master cabin on the lower deck, and a large superyacht spa, featuring a sauna, hammam and massage room.
On the main deck, guests will be able to relax in the communal areas, with a large saloon and separate dining area, which provides seating for up to ten people.
The Tecnomar Evo 115 will also feature a superyacht sundeck, with sunbathing areas, a Jacuzzi, bar and dining area.
The Italian Sea Group is yet to reveal any further details about the engine installation or the estimated delivery date, but the aluminium planing hull has been designed to deliver a top speed of 27 knots.
