The much anticipated 28 metre Dominator Ilumen yacht Kalli-Ente is taking shape at the Italian yard, as the latest in-build photos reveal.
The hull and superstucture are largely complete, with the finishing touches being put to the flybridge earlier this month. Dominator adds that Kalli-Ente will be launched in June before going on display at the 2017 Cannes and Monaco yacht shows.
Kalli-Ente can accommodate 10 guests in five guest suites, with space for three crew. The exterior and interior design is by Alberto Mancini with an emphasis on sleek and modern elements such as backlit white onyx, ebony, zebrano, matte oak and soft nubuck leather. Key features include floor-to-ceiling glazing in the saloon and a contemporary-styled superyacht office.
Angela Pernsteiner, managing partner at Dominator Yachts, said, "The entire Dominator design, engineering and construction team has put blood, sweat and tears into creating a yachting revolution and we are proud that this has been rewarded by the market."
The naval architecture was developed by the in-house technical team as well as engineers from Navalhead, with a focus on enhancing performance and comfort at sea in an aesthetically pleasing package.
Andrea Agrusta, head of engineering at Dominator Yachts, added that the yard has worked with Reintjes to develop a counter-rotating propeller system that will add to the smoothness of the ride.
Built in Epoxy Carbon, the semi-displacement luxury yacht is powered by twin 1,200hp MAN V8 diesel engines for a top speed of 21 knots and a maximum cruising range of 1,700nm at 10 knots.
