Styled by Alberto Mancini Design Studio, the Oceano 42 aims to create as few barriers as possible between the owners, their guests and the surrounding environment.
Key features include a transom beach club and extensive glazing in the saloon to maximise the perception of light and space on board.
On the foredeck, the Mangusta Oceano 42 will have two separate sunbathing areas and an infinity pool with waterfall. What’s more, the transparent base of the pool will allow light to filter through to the master suite on the deck below.
Further accommodation means that up to 12 guests and seven crew members can also stay on board. Overmarine adds that particular attention has been paid to making this model as quiet, stable and comfortable as possible, hinting at zero-speed stabilisers and extensive noise insulation.
Hull number two in the Mangusta Oceano 42 series is due for completion in 2017.
The news of the second hull being sold comes less than a week before the scheduled launch of the first hull in the range, which is due to be splashed on Saturday (June 4).
Francesco Frediani, group commercial director at Overmarine, said: “When we decided to enter a different market segment, we were convinced we’d be able to play a key role on this market. This further sale confirms we are clearly on the right track.”
In addition to the Mangusta Oceano 42, Overmarine is also working on 46 metre and 54 metre models at its Viareggio headquarters.
