I contact Tom Corkett in Ardell’s California office regarding the recent sale of his central listing, the 28.83m motor yacht Maverick and he confirms that the deal is done, with Roy Sea at Ocean Alexander introducing the buyer. As Tom aptly says, “It’s nice to know there are still buyers out there.”

Built by Holland’s Kuipers yard in 2003 to a Vripack design and Lloyds classed, Maverick is a sturdy, rugged expedition yacht with a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a steady 9 knots. Accommodating six guests in a master and two twin cabins, this superyacht was on the market asking $6.6 million.
