The 69.5m (228') motor yacht Sherakhan has now arrived in the Caribbean and, based in St Maarten, is available for charter through Y.CO.
Sherakhan was built by Holland's Vuyk en Zonen yard in 1965 and rebuilt as a luxury superyacht in 2005 with a further refit in 2008.
A very large saloon measuring 20 metres by nine metres is divided into two distinct areas. On one side is a luxurious formal dining area for 22 guests with a seven metre atrium. On the other side is a relaxation area furnished with couches, armchairs, a bar and grand piano
She sleeps 26 guests in a master suite, 10 double staterooms and two cabins. The master suite on the upper deck is particularly impressive, with a king size bed, private lounge/study and a private terrace. A crew complement of 19 ensures smooth running 24 hours a day.
All double staterooms have king size beds and all suites are equipped with a television, DVD, stereo, mini bar, safe, air-conditioning, and a vanity table / desk. There is also WiFi internet access throughout the yacht.
The range of water toys is extensive and includes two tenders, two Yamaha jet skis, two Yamaha Waverunners, a Laser dinghy, floating trampoline, kayak and fishing tackle.
