by Malcolm MacLean
The 44.2 metre motor yacht I Love This Boat, jointly listed for sale by Northrop & Johnson and Tom George Yacht Group, has been sold with Joe Foggia of Northrop & Johnson and Hargrave Yachts introducing the buyer.
I Love This Boat was built in GRP by US superyacht yard Christensen to ABS class and launched in 2002 as hull number 25 in the Christensen Custom Series.
Previously named Primadonna and Aghassi, her exquisite interior by Paola D Smith & Associates accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. The accommodation is configured as a full-beam master suite, two double suites and two twin cabins. The master suite is full width and located forward on the main deck with a private office, king size bed, his and hers en suite bathrooms and two walk in closets. Two identical double cabins have queen sized beds and there are a further two twin cabins. The four guest cabins are below deck forward of the engine room and all have full entertainment systems including flatscreen televisions with surround sound, as well as en-suite bathroom facilities.
The covered aft deck is ideal for al fresco dining, and the skylounge converts into a home cinema with a 50-inch plasma television and surround sound. Silk bulkhead panels in pastel shades throughout are combined with high gloss painted surfaces and natural woods to create a relaxed, gentle ambience.
Twin 1,820hp MTU engines give her a maximum cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I Love This Boat was asking $9,995,000.
