The 36.5 metre motor yacht Valkyrie, listed for sale by Thomas Cleator at Denison Yachting, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Valkyrie was built in composite by the Crescent yard in Canada to a design by Jack Sarin and delivered in 2001 with a refit in 2011. An interior by Robin Rose features mahogany woodwork and fabric covered furniture throughout to give her a warm, inviting ambience.

Valkyrie was asking $5,500,000

The expansive main saloon has large windows allowing natural light to flood in and is separated from the eight-person formal dining area by low cabinetry and mahogany columns.

The flybridge offers plenty of seating along with a stainless steel barbecue grill, bar with refrigerator and icemaker and a settee area. All of this is surrounded by a three-sided enclosure, offering comfort in all weather conditions.

Forward and to port of the dining room is the staircase down to the foyer for the four cabins that can accommodate up to eight guests. Double doors open to a grand master suite with a king size bed and two vanity units, while the VIP suite has a queen size bed and there are two further twin cabins. All cabins come with television screens and full en suite bathroom facilities.

Twin 1,800hp MTU engines give her a top speed of 21 knots and a terrific range of 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots.

Valkyrie was asking $5,500,000.
