The 25.6 metre sailing yacht Neptune, listed for sale at Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Will Bishop at Yachting Partners International.
Built in aluminium by New Zealand’s Fitzroy Yachts in 2004 to a design by Judel Vrolijk, she was delivered in 2004 and most recently refitted in 2017. Her bright, modern interior by Dick Young accommodates six guests in a master suite and two twin cabins. A further two twin cabins provide quarters for four crew.
Comfortable seating is provided in the saloon with leather settees, a dining area and an entertainment centre including a large television screen and a Bose stereo surround sound system. Up a few steps is the deckhouse and there is further seating, another dining area and a helm position. The cockpit has two steering stands and settees forward.
She has a Southern Spars carbon fibre mast and boom, Reckmann hydraulic furling systems while her deck gear consists of eight Harken hydraulic winches. She has a sail wardrobe new in 2011 and all navigation equipment is by Simrad.
A 300hp Lugger engine provides a cruising speed of 15 knots.
