Lazzara motor yacht Bella Contessa sold
by Malcolm Maclean
The 32.22 metre motor yacht Bella Contessa, listed for sale by Peter Lenton at Lenton Yachts, has been sold with Chris June at Worth Avenue Yachts introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP by US yard Lazzara Yachts, Bella Contessa was delivered in 2004 and the entire interior is done in high gloss African cherry wood with flamed mahogany inlaid marquetry. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, two double VIP suites and a double cabin, all with flat screen televisions and full en suite facilities.
There are no nods towards minimalism in the decor of this yacht: instead, she has the luxurious ambience of a small country house. The main saloon has a custom upholstered sofa and loveseat, and there are also two cocktail tables, a games table with four custom upholstered chairs and a wet bar with a granite top, icemaker, refrigerator, wine cooler & storage for barware. The entertainment centre includes a Sony 50 inch plasma television coupled to a Crestron universal remote control, a Pioneer C300 surround sound stereo and DVD, Sony CD and JVC VCR player.
The aft deck has a teak sole, curved sliding glass doors into the saloon, an oval table on stainless steel double pedestals and a custom upholstered settee plus occasional chairs. Al fresco entertaining and dining are aided by a wet bar, fridge and ice maker. More outdoor living is available on the expansive flybridge, featuring a Jacuzzi, a wet bar with Jenn-Aire grill plus ample seating in the sun or shade.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Bella Contessa was asking $2,950,000.
