News from Northrop & Johnson Asia that Bart Kimman and George Johnson have sold the 29.5 metre motor yacht Makarena, acting for both buyer and seller.

Built in mahogany/epoxy by Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts, Makarena was delivered in 2006 and had a major refit in 2011. Accommodation is for eight guests in four spacious staterooms consisting of a master suite, VIP stateroom and two twins, all with televisions, DVDs and full en suite bathroom facilities.

The decor throughout is in neutral, earthy tones complemented by dark wood paneling. The expansive main saloon has ample seating, a formal dining area and a 50 inch flat screen television incorporated into an entertainment system with Bose surround sound.

Deck areas are extensive, highlighted by a large flybridge designed for outdoor living, with a Jacuzzi, barbecue, wet bar, dining area and sun pads, ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining. She also offers a large outdoor entertainment area at the aft deck. Twin 1,500hp MAN engines power her to a cruising speed of 15 knots.

A popular charter yacht, Makarena was asking €1.2 million.
