Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Royal Huisman to a design by Sparkman & Stephens, she was delivered in 1984 as a bluewater cruising ketch and refitted in 2003 with only one owner since launch. Her interior, styled by Pieter Beeldsnijder, features blond teak and high-quality upholstery with flexible accommodation for up to six guests in two twin cabins plus two crew cabins, one of which can be used as a further guest cabin, and all have en suite shower facilities.
A comfortable saloon has U-shaped built in seating and two chairs around a dining table along with an entertainment centre including a 20 inch Sony Bravia television screen and a Pioneer sound system. An additional attraction is a Bauer professional dive compressor and the entire deck area of this yacht for sale can be covered with awnings for protection against the sun.
On the technical side, she is fitted with a Rondal mast and boom and Quantum DYS Spectra laminate sails while her deck gear includes no fewer than 20 Lewmar winches. During her build, strict attention was paid to installations, ensuring the avoidance of hull borne noise and vibration. Noise levels in accommodation and living areas are therefore unusually low. A single 225hp Gardner diesel engine gives her a range of 1,700 nautical miles at 8 knots.
