CELEBRATING YACHTING LIFE
For adherents of the yachting lifestyle, an annual celebration is required, and for 21 years Monaco has been the venue for just such a gathering. Organised by Boat International Media in association with the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) and a collection of the leading shipyards in the world, The Rendezvous in Monaco provides four days of fun and games on and off the water and first-class hospitality for superyacht owners, their families and friends.
Kicking off with a Champagne reception, the activities include yacht hops, tender racing, watersports, a 007-style water-borne poker run and the much anticipated Midnight Cruise in Company. There are also luncheons on private beaches (reached by tender) and sumptuous black-tie dinners, culminating in the Diamonds and White Rendezvous Party at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club.
Superyacht chefs, nominated by their owners, are pitted against each other in a competition of skill and creativity to produce a unique dish out of the same ingredients, and cocktail concoctions are also judged.
The next Rendezvous in Monaco takes place 20-23 June 2013.
