Taiwanese yacht builder Horizon Yachts has announced a new contract for a 36.6m Horizon RP120 motor yacht destined for the Chinese market, their second superyacht order above 100 feet for China. The first, a 110ft Raised Pilothouse motor yacht, was recently completed and successfully sea trialed in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in August of this year.

The Horizon RP120 will be the first yacht for its new owner, a successful business man from Shanghai, China who researched the Horizon RP120 against similarly sized and styled yachts worldwide.

Horizon is seeing tremendous growth in the Asian market,’ says the company’s CEO John Lu. ‘We have seven superyacht projects currently under construction for this market alone. We are encouraged by the increase in new builds and are confident the Chinese market will be another success for Horizon.’
