Numarine introduces new 26XP Fast model

Turkish shipyard Numarine has introduced a new 26XP Fast model to its lineup, building on the success of its 26XP expedition-style displacement motor yacht.

The 25.9-metre planing model is now the quickest in her class with a top speed of 31 knots thanks to twin MAN 1,800 hp engines – fast enough to travel from Miami to the Bahamas in only two to three hours. According to the builder, the new model is aimed "squarely at the US market".

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the 26XP is offered for sale with Denison Yachting asking $6,950,000.

Numarine assembled a team of long-term collaborators to create 26XP Fast including Umberto Tagliavini for the naval architecture and Can Yalman, who was responsible for both the exterior and interior design. The new Fast model carries the same angular windows and vertical bow as her larger predecessors, and has been designed to provide the same comfort and amenities in a more compact package.

A standout feature on board the new model is the expansive 65-square-metre flybridge, with enough space to store either a three-metre tender or a pair of jet skis (in the latter case, a 4.5-metre tender can also be stowed on the swim platform). The 26XP Fast also offers owners a range of semi-customisable options such as the choice between an extended hardtop or a soft top to complete the flybridge.

The interior layout can also be customised with a four or five-cabin layout, housing either eight or ten guests with a full-beam master cabin available in both configurations. Accommodation for three to four crew is located in the transom, depending on the selected layout.

The main saloon and formal dining area welcome plenty of natural light thanks to large windows, some of which slide open, offering access to a side balcony. The 26XP Fast also benefits from a shallow draft of 2.12 metres.

Other onboard highlights include a second helm station, multiple al fresco dining spaces and ample sun loungers throughout the yacht. Special attention was given to reducing noise and vibration for maximum comfort, in collaboration with Can Cappellen consultants. There is also an optional "extra silent" package that includes an extended hardtop fitted with solar panels to supplement the hotel load.

“The Numarine displacement explorer range has proved very popular in the US, but we know there are people out there who love fast boats, especially for weekend or day trips,” said Omer Malaz, founder and chairman of Numarine.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the first 26XP is offered for sale with Denison Yachting asking $6,950,000.

According to the yard, the Numarine 26XP takes six to eight months to build, with the next available delivery in March 2024. There are two 26XP models currently under construction at the shipyard, alongside four larger 37XP models.
