Numarine delivers latest yacht in flagship 37XP series Maya

8 April 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

The eleventh hull in Numarine's 37XP series has been delivered and named Maya. The 37.2-metre model is the largest yacht in the Turkish shipyard's fleet, until the launch of the 40MXP in 2025.

Exterior design is owed to Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini has completed the naval architecture. Maya has been built in steel and composite with an "updated" displacement hull, which can efficiently support offshore and worldwide cruising.

The superyacht also benefits from "several social areas", with interiors styled by Rezzan Benardete. While full details are undisclosed, oversized windows in the main deck saloon and cabins will allow for bright, airy living spaces.

Accommodation is across seven guest cabins. This includes the owner's suite on the main deck and a large suite on the upper deck, which has an aft-facing bed and a large terrace that can serve as storage for a nine-metre tender while the yacht is underway.

The beach club features a bathing platform and an inside lounge situated at water level. Meanwhile, the yacht's wide-body flybridge extends to almost 10 metres, providing 83 square metres of space.

Numarine has also delivered hulls 24 and 25 in its 26XP series

Key numbers include a volume of 345GT and a range of 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots, "placing [her] on par with the world’s best expedition yachts in its class".  Maya can autonomously cover 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, with a maximum speed of 14 knots.

Three more 37XPs will be delivered in 2024. Numarine most recently revealed the interiors of its diesel-electric explorer model, the 30XP. The first unit is also due for delivery this year.
