DESCRIPTION
Stargazer yacht for sale
Stargazer is a 55m motor yacht originally built at the Zigler yard in Louisiana in 1964.
She has had a number of illustrious owners, including Henry Ford II, and has hosted a galaxy of celebrity charter clients such as Frank Sinatra, Sean Connery and Hugh Hefner.
She has had numerous modifications over the years, with input from a number of renowned designers including Jon Bannenberg, Francis Giuglaris and Joseph Artese.
She had a major refit at the Stabbert Marine yard in Seattle in 2006, and was then sold to her present owner who renamed her Stargazer.
Still very much a part of the charter circuit, she sleeps 12 guests in six ensuite cabins and has a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 13 knots.
Stargazer is for sale with International Yacht Collection asking $6.9 million.
