Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) just launched its first Nauta Air 90 superyacht, and Boat International's Maria Roberta Morso was live on the scene to cover the event.
CdM's activity proceeds full steam ahead, and shortly after the launch of its first Nauta Air 86, superyacht Yolo, the Italian-based shipyard has launched its first Nauta Air 90, Noga. Based on the same naval platform of the 86, the Nauta Air 90 displays a longer stern section and a sleeker profile compared to its smaller sister.
The Nauta Air 90 exterior and interiors have been designed by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino of Nauta Yacht Design and offer an elegant and refreshing interpretation of a comfortable, semi-displacement yacht featuring an extraordinary 60sqm panoramic flybridge where a secondary helm station is located.
The Nauta Air 90 was launched and christened Noga. As can be seen in the photo below, the yacht was launched at Italy's ISA shipyard. CdM launches all of its yacht at ISA as it has a large and well-equipped service, refit and maintenance department with a powerful travel lift and a deepwater marina.
'The Nauta Air line represents the true essence of the 'navetta' concept,' says Cantiere delle Marche Director of Sales and Marketing and partner Vasco Buonpensiere says. 'We noticed that the market lacked of energy efficient, medium-sized yachts with large flying bridges and generous interior volumes, something fully customisable and with sturdy metal construction. The all-aluminium Nauta Air line is our answer.' It seems that they hit the target.
Noga boasts a generous beam of approximately seven metres. The interior layout has a traditional configuration with an open plan saloon on the main deck, which opens onto a large cockpit, separate galley to port and four large guest cabins on the lower deck. Twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines delivering 885 horsepower each at 2200rpm push the yacht at a top speed of 16 knots and offer a range of 2,600 nautical miles at 11 knots.
