Rihanna to plunge back into the yacht charter market

Rihanna to plunge back into the charter market?

Pop princess Rihanna, of “Umbrella” and “Disturbia” fame, is rumoured to be considering another superyacht charter this summer, having become a connoisseur of charter holidays over the last couple of years.

Last year Rihanna and supermodel Cara Delevingne shared a yacht charter aboard Andreas L, a 60m Benetti launched in 2008. They chartered the yacht for two weeks last summer, spending time among the hot-spots of the Cote d’Azur in the Western Mediterranean, and enjoying all the facilities on board.

Andreas L sleeps up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a master suite, a VIP stateroom, two double cabins, and two twin cabins. She carries up to 15 crew on board to ensure a high level of service and luxury. The interior was designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon and her exterior styling is by Stefano Natucci. She features, among other things, a gym, beauty salon, on-deck Jacuzzi and a swimming pool, as well as all the usual water toys and tenders.

The previous summer, Rihanna chartered the 52 metre Benetti superyacht Latitude, this time in Sardinia. Again she was spotted among the beautiful people and beautiful places of Porto Cuervo, living the life of the gliteratti.

Latitude (originally Latinou) features an elevator to all decks, private outdoor areas and a sundeck gym. With exteriors by Stefano Natucci and interiors designed by Mauro Izzo and Benetti’s in-house team, she sleeps 12 guests and has a crew of 13.

There is no word yet about which yacht she may charter, but if past experience is anything to go by, it would seem likely to be a large Benetti. Watch this space for more news.
