Model Kendall Jenner posted this snap from the appropriately named Princess K during the Cannes Film Festival 2015 in May. Should Jenner (or her legion of fans) have been particularly fond of the yacht they will be glad to find out the 40 metre Sunseeker is currently listed for sale with Dbeere Yachts.

However, it seems Princess K may have just been a yachting warm-up for Jenner as she was later spotted on board Axioma with fellow models Gigi and Bella Hadid and F1 star Lewis Hamilton.

In true diva style, pop icon Mariah Carey was one of the first stars to step out on a superyacht this summer when she treated her children to a Mediterranean cruise on Arctic P in July. The yacht belongs to Carey’s boyfriend James Packer and the singer was sure to make full use of her glamorous Adrian Sassoon-designed surroundings with a series of Instagram posts highlighting the enviable yachting lifestyle.

Any keen celebrity yachtspotter will know where to find Magic Johnson during the summer months. Every year the basketball star famously charters the 70 metre Amadeus for a six-week cruise of the Med where he is joined by a bevy of A-list friends. This year’s guest list included Johnson’s son EJ, Samuel L. Jackson, Lewis Hamilton, comedian Chris Tucker and Tucker’s son Destin.

Power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West   celebrated the Fourth of July in style thanks to a cruise aboard  Trinity Yachts' Utopia III. The yacht is owned by the couple's close friends Loren and JR Ridinger, who threw a party to celebrate the birthday of Larsa Pippen - another mutual friend and former wife of  sports star and fellow superyacht owner Scottie Pippen.

Stefano Gabbana, one half of design duo  Dolce & Gabbana, indulges in a little sunbathing and yacht spotting aboard his 60 metre  Codecasa Regina d'Italia. The ever patriotic Gabbana cruised the yacht around his native  Italy before arriving in Portofino for the fashion house's Ora ball in July.

Israeli socialite Hofit Golan displays some questionable sailing techniques while on a superyacht cruise in Ibiza in July. The TV personality sailed around the Med with three friends before ending her trip in Turkey.

Rorhbach spent time on board the yacht - which recently played host to  owner James Packer and his girlfriend Mariah Carey - in Saint Tropez with her boyfriend DiCaprio, who received an award from Prince Albert II of Monaco this week for his work and donations to ocean and environmental charities.

American socialite and style icon Olivia Palermo cemented her fashion credentials when she holidayed on board T.M.Blue One – the 46 metre Picchiotti belonging to the honorary president of Valentino Giancarlo Giametti - this summer. Palermo was joined by Giametti, Carlos Souza, Lukas Dvorak and her husband Johannes Huebl for a luxury yacht vacation in Ibiza in July.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence (top right) showed off her playful side as she took to the top of a human pyramid supported by fellow actress and comedienne Amy Schumer (bottom right) in July. The pair were holidaying on board a yacht with a group of other female friends after being re-united at a recent Comic-Con event in San Diego and - both being known for their adventurous natures - made good use of the yacht's jet skis and inflatables.

Danish model and television presenter Caroline Fleming showed the world how much she was enjoying her  luxury yacht vacation in Ibiza with this fun snap in August. Fleming is a guest on board the 46.5 metre  CMB Yachts Orient Star and is holidaying with her three children and a host of other family and friends.
