The 50 most expensive yachts for sale now

How much does a superyacht cost? The answer is not so simple. Much like a luxury watch or car, the asking price depends on a variety of factors such as age, pedigree and finish, with the largest and newest vessels peaking into the hundreds of millions. To give you a better idea, BOAT International rounds up the 50 most expensive yachts currently listed for sale, starting with Lady Lara...

Phoenix 2

Asking €124,950,000 with Burgess and Cecil Wright & Partners

Builder: Lürssen
Length: 90m

The owner commissioned Winch Design to create her intricate cityscape-inspired design concept, including a 5.7-metre phoenix figurehead modelled after the Chrysler building's mounted eagles. Roaring highlights include a sommelier room, multiple swimming pools, a plush cinema room and a custom Steinway for some musical accompaniment at mealtimes. Accommodation is for up to 14 guests in seven cabins, including a full-beam owner's cabin accessible via a glass spiral staircase.

Sparta

POA with Arcon Yachts

Builder: Heesen
Length: 67m
Designer: Winch Design

Sparta has now overthrown Lusine as the Dutch builder’s largest steel yacht. Characterised by a low exterior profile and a hull accented in “Venetian red” and metallic grey, the shipyard claims that little has changed since the initial sketches were presented except for modifications to the aft deck pool, which now stretches to 6.5 metres. Accommodation is for a maximum of 14 people across seven cabins, with her elemental interiors – including a master cabin modelled after "air" – recently revealed to BOAT International.

Length: 85.7m
Designers: Reymond Langton Design, Brian Callahan, Winch Design

Delivered in 2006, B2 remains the shipyard's third largest superyacht. Additional highlights include a sundeck Jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema, a fully-equipped gym and a dedicated massage room. Designed to be used as a multigenerational family yacht, accommodation is for 22 guests with an elevator serving each level right up to the sundeck.

Stella M

Asking €77,500,000 with Burgess

Builder: Amels
Length: 60m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Reymond Langton Design

"There are many features of this design that bring a smile to my face," said Stella M's exterior designer Tim Heywood. The superyacht's highlights are aplenty, including a cavernous 1,015GT interior, an eco-friendly hybrid propulsion package and an elevator whisking guests between four decks. An air-conditioned gym with massage room sits on the sundeck alongside a large Jacuzzi, double sunpad, buffet bar and a wet bar with glass handrails to protect the view. Down below, Stella M's beach club is arranged with a sit-up wet bar, sauna, steam shower and changing room. Accommodation is for up to 14 guests in six suites.

Come Together

Asking €59,950,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Amels
Length: 60m
Designer: Giorgio M. Cassetta, Bannenberg & Rowell

The first unit in the Amels 60 series (and the only Amels 60 on the market), Come Together was commissioned by a serial superyacht owner who, unsurprisingly, happens to be a fan of The Beatles. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and includes a vast owner's suite with folding balcony, office and lounge area. The guest cabins found on the lower deck benefit from direct access to the beach club where a large 38-square-metre swim platform, ice bath and sauna awaits. Her crowning glory, however, is a 27-metre sun deck complete with a raised sun lounging space, a Jacuzzi and a bar and an extendable dining table protected from the elements that seats up to 18 guests. As the sun sets, the space can be transformed into an open-air cinema or a party area with DJ decks.

Talisman C

Asking €55,000,000 with Burgess

Builder: Proteksan Turquoise
Length: 70.5m
Designer: H2 Yacht Design, Hydro Tec

Delivered in 2011 as the Turkish shipyard's flagship, Talisman C is the second in the fleet to bear the name. The original owner was looking to upgrade from a 54.2-metre to a larger vessel that could carry more tenders and toys. The result? A full-width aft garage that can accommodate a 7.7-metre Ski Nautique Super Air for powered sports, a seven-metre Novurania Chase 23 tender and a Narwhal rescue tender. A split-level master suite sits forward on the main deck and is described by the broker as having a "boudoir décor", with voile curtains around the king-sized bed and crystal chandeliers as bedside reading lights. Other highlights include a crow's nest observation lounge and a gym and wellness area with dedicated massage table and beauty salon.

Utopia IV

Asking $47,900,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship

Builder: Rossinavi
Length: 63m
Designers: Team For Design – Enrico Gobbi

The award-winning Utopia IV is on the market for the first time since her delivery in 2018. She recently benefitted from a refit which included a full paint job and service of all major machinery including engines, jet drives, and generators. Accommodation is across six en suite cabins, including a forward-facing master suite with its own six-metre terrace. Brands such as Armani and Hermes feature throughout. Special features include a 70-square-metre beach club in the transom, three spa pools and a touch-and-go helipad. In 2023, she made headlines when she rescued a stranded vessel off the coast of Florida.

Builder: Codecasa
Length: 55.8m
Designers: Tommaso Spadolini

Commissioned by an experienced owner looking to upgrade in size, this custom-built superyacht has only been privately and lightly used since new. My Legacy's standout feature is her interior decòr, which incorporates rich, damask fabrics with a jewel-toned colour palette of reds and blues. Up top, her substantial sundeck is arranged with a bar, sunloungers and a pool flanked by sunpads and sheltered by a windscreen.

Marguerite

Asking $39,900,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship

Builder: Lürssen
Length: 60.7m
Designer: Winch Design, Espen Øino International

Marguerite was built under the supervision of the Moran new construction team, with a design brief that requested a private owner’s area, professional dive centre, hefty tender storage and the ability to cruise for thirty days at a time. The owner's cabin is a particular highlight, spanning two decks and designed with an observation lounge, access to a private foredeck and a floating staircase that leads to an upper deck study. The yacht benefitted from a full interior refit after a change in ownership at the end of 2021.
