The Monaco Yacht Show 2026 is set to showcase some of the most impressive new builds in the superyacht world, and Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts is bringing a showstopping vessel to the docks. The 87.7-metre flagship Angelique represents a major milestone for both the yard and Turkey's yachting industry. Here's what makes this superyacht essential viewing at this year's show.
At 87.7 metres LOA with an impressive 2,646GT internal volume, Angelique (formerly Project Vento) holds the title of Turkey's largest yacht by both length and volume. Launched in January 2026, this steel-hulled beauty with an aluminium superstructure is the yard's new flagship - and she's impossible to miss.
Her striking "Tour de France" blue hull, designed by British studio H2 Yacht Design, features sweeping lines and angled grilles that give her a bold presence on the water. This marks another successful collaboration between Turquoise Yachts and H2 Yacht Design, a partnership that now spans 12 yachts over 17 years, with the studio responsible for both her exterior and interior design.
Angelique is built for serious onboard living, starting with one of the largest beach clubs in her class. Complete with a drive-in tender docking system, fold-down terraces on both sides and dramatic illumination from pool skylights above, it's a space designed to blur the line between yacht and resort.
Wellness is a central theme throughout. Guests can enjoy a full spa with hammam, sauna and treatment room, a panoramic bridge-deck gym and a 6.5-metre glass-surrounded swimming pool with contra-flow on the main deck.
The owner's brief placed a strong emphasis on entertainment, and Angelique delivers in spades. Highlights include DJ facilities, a golf simulator and a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a multi-sport court when not in use.
But the real showstopper is the expansive sundeck. This open-air space features an informal seating and cooking area with teppanyaki and barbecue grills, an outdoor cinema, a bar and fixed sunpads surrounding one of two Jacuzzis.
Inside, Angelique's interiors reflect H2 Yacht Design's Art Deco approach, featuring rich materials and curved details. Turquoise collaborated closely with local craftsmen on the new build's construction, with longstanding partner Ulutas playing a key role in her interior. Among many standout details, Angelique features polished stainless-steel detailing throughout, produced locally.
The main saloon offers a statement bar and circular seating arrangement, alongside a formal dining table for 16. A lift serves all decks on board, though the highlight is the central open staircase-cum-atrium, which hosts a suspended sculpture by renowned artist Dale Chihuly.
Accommodation is for 12 guests across seven flexible cabins, including a private owner's deck complete with a private television lounge area, his-and-hers dressing rooms, an office and a breakfast table with views over the bow. On the same deck, there is a more relaxed saloon with a games table and cinema screen, alongside a bar and dining area, which can be enclosed via sliding glass doors to create a winter garden. Outside lies a forward private terrace with recessed seating and the second Jacuzzi.
Two VIP cabins, three doubles and a convertible cabin are all located on the main deck, while crew accommodation sleeps 27. A large array of tenders and water toys - including a Wajer 55 HT - completes Angelique's package, while power comes from twin MTU engines offering a top speed of 17 knots.
With her striking blue hull, expansive wellness facilities and Art Deco interiors, Angelique represents a new benchmark for Turkish superyacht construction. She is now on the charter market with Robert Shepherd of Edmiston, ready for the winter season in the Caribbean.
