This page sets out the terms by which you may use boatinternational.com, and the content and services available upon them (which we will refer to as “content”, “our service” or “the service”). In these terms, we use the term “boatinternational.com” to refer to our content website, ecommerce shop, and mobile applications, including all features and functionalities and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.
References in these terms to “Boat International” (or “we”, “us”, or “our”) refer to Boat International Media Limited. See Section 8, “Corporate Information” for information about our company.
2. CONTENT OWNERSHIP
All content, designs, text, graphics, software compilations and source codes on this website are the copyright of Boat International Media Limited and/or its content providers.
You agree that you will use our Site only for your own personal or internal business purposes and that you shall not exploit our Site or any of its contents for any commercial purpose unless expressly permitted within accepted usage for our subscriptions products.
You may view the Content anywhere in the world. We regularly make changes to the service, including the Content. In addition, we continually test various aspects of our service, including our website, user interfaces, promotional features and availability of Content. This may mean that the service may be unavailable from time to time. We also may upgrade our service from time to time. We will endeavour to keep downtime to a minimum.
Any other use of the website without prior written consent from us is strictly forbidden.
On registration, you must provide Boat International with accurate registration information, and create a user name and password (“Login Details”). Each registered user account is for a single user only. Each user account must have their own designated Login Details and must not share it with any other person. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account. We can terminate your account or place your account on hold in order to protect you from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
You are responsible for all use of Boat International made by you or anyone using your Login Details. If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorized use of your ID or other payment information, you must notify Boat International immediately by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will send you information relating to your account (e.g. payment authorizations, invoices, changes in password or Payment Method, confirmation messages, notices) in electronic form only, for example via emails to your email address provided during registration.
4. PRINT AND DIGITAL EDITION SUBSCRIPTIONS
SUBSCRIBING TO PRINT AND DIGITAL EDITION PRODUCTS
We offer print and digital edition subscriptions through boatinternational.com, and via our subscriptions call centre (see contact details below).
When you purchase a subscription, you must provide us with complete and accurate payment information. By submitting payment details you promise that you are entitled to purchase a subscription using those payment details. Your offer will only be accepted by us and a contract formed when we have successfully verified your payment details. Boat International reserve the right to reject any offer in its discretion, for any or no reason.
The subscription price will be made clear to you on our subscription sign-up pages and may vary from time to time or by country. You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase the subscription.
WHEN DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRE?
If you pay by Direct Debit, your subscription will continue until you ask us to stop sending the magazine. If you pay by cheque, credit or debit card, you will find your subscription end date on the confirmation email letter confirming your subscription and on your renewal letters. Alternatively, log on to the subscriptions management centre where you can find full details of your subscription.
HOW DO I RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You can renew your subscription online by logging into our subscriptions management centre, or by contacting . If you're paying by Direct Debit, your subscription will continue on your current price until we advise you otherwise. You don't need to do anything, and we will continue to send copies out to you every month. If you pay by credit or debit card, or cheque, we will send you advice and renewal prices in advance of the end of your subscription.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You may cancel at any time during your subscription and receive a full refund on any unsent issues. Please note that we do not accept returns.
Please contact us if you would like to cancel your subscription. If you are paying by Direct Debit, you will also need to cancel your Direct Debit mandate with your bank. Your subscription will continue until the end of the paid term. If you prefer to cancel immediately, simply contact us and we will arrange for a refund of all unsent copies. If you are paying by credit card, debit card or cheque, please contact us and we will arrange a refund of all unsent copies.

Whether you want to update your contact details, renew, upgrade, find out when your next issue is due or find out how many issues you have left on your current subscription, shop.boatinternational.com/mysubscriptions allows you to do all of this.
DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTIONS VIA THE APPLE AND ANDROID STORES
You may also purchase an annual or monthly subscription to Boat International via the Apple and Android app stores. Subscriptions purchased via these platforms are subject to additional terms and conditions placed by the respective platform provider.
5. BOOK AND BACK ISSUE PURCHASES
We aim to deliver all UK orders within 2-7 days if the goods are in stock (Please allow up to 14 days for non UK shipping addresses). If the goods you order are “Out of Stock” you will not be able to order the goods online, however items may come back into stock from time to time. If for any reason we cannot source the item we will contact you to inform you.
You can cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched up to 7 days from receipt (see return policy below). Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please check the goods on delivery and ensure that they are supplied correctly. If any of the goods prove to be unsuitable please return them within 7 days in the original packaging and in an unused condition for a full refund less of any postage costs.
6. BOAT PRO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Boat Pro provides a subscription service that allows our members to access our extensive database comprising data about the superyacht market including the Global Order Book, brokerage sales, deliveries, launches and name changes, plus access to full statistics on the entire superyacht fleet.
BOAT PRO GENERAL TERMS
Membership fee for the service and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged on an annual basis on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of the paying portion of your membership.
You can cancel your membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to the service through to the end of your billing period. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods or lack of use of the Content. To cancel, please contact email@example.com. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period. To see when your account will close, click ‘Billing details’ on the ‘Your Account’ page.
CHANGES TO THE PRICE
We may change the price of our service from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to our service plans will apply to you no earlier than 30 days following notice to you.
You must be 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province, territory or country, to become a member of the service to subscribe. The Content on the service are for your personal and non-commercial use only. During your membership we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access the service and view the Content for non-commercial purposes. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the service for public performances or publish any Content in any public document, including digitally, without obtaining a further licence from Boat International. If you wish to use the Content for any purposes other than your own internal analysis, then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a further licence. We reserve the right to grant or not grant a further license without explanation.
PASSWORDS AND ACCOUNT ACCESS
To maintain control over the account and to prevent anyone from accessing the account (which would include information on viewing history for the account), the account owner should not provide the same logins to more than one person.
ACCEPTABLE SERVICE USAGE
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following constitutes a permitted use of the Boat Pro Content and the Service:
1. accessing data tables to identify business prospects e.g. reviewing forthcoming yacht builds for product sales opportunities;
2. accessing data tables to compile statistics for internal business usage e.g. yacht sales trends or order trends annually over time;
3. accessing superyacht data to find statistics about yachts;
4. generating charts based on our data for use in internal company reports and presentations.
The quality of the display of the Content may vary from device to device, and may be affected by a variety of factors, such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your Internet connection. You are responsible for all internet access charges. Please check with your Internet provider for information on possible internet data usage charges.
The Content may change from time to time and the functionality of the service may change from time to time as determined in our discretion and any such changes shall not entitle you to any compensation or to termination your subscription.
PAYMENT METHODS AND TERMS
Individual payments may be made by credit card via the Boat International Shop or direct bank transfer (BACS) via the Boat Pro business development team. Payment will only be accepted upon clearance of funds. You will be liable for all fees for transfer of funds or foreign exchange costs.
Unless otherwise indicated, prices stated on our website are inclusive of any applicable value added tax (VAT) or other sales taxes. The breakdown of any applicable VAT payable with your order is indicated on the invoice you will receive with your purchase.
If you a VAT registered business in the EU (outside the UK) and wish to be charged at a VAT-exclusive rate then please ensure your full company details are entered in the online payment process, and that you submit your EU VAT number (including country prefix) when asked. Alternatively, contact the BOAT Pro sales team to discuss invoiced payments.
You may be required to provide a copy of your certificate of incorporation or similar document in order to obtain your corporate membership. Your membership will continue on an annual basis. To use the service, you must have internet access. Your subscription will be payable annually in advance. We will issue an invoice prior to the expiration date of your subscription. Any delay in payment may result in a suspension of your subscription.
7. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES, ADVERTISING AND LINKS
Boatinternational.com may contain links to other Internet websites or online and mobile services provided by independent third parties. Any links and pointers to other websites are provided for convenience only, and we assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the contents of those other websites linked or pointed to, or any products or services advertised or sold on those websites.
Boatinternational.com contains advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion by Boat International complies with international and national law. Boat International is not responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising or sponsorship material. A display of third-party advertising on the Site does not imply an endorsement or recommendation by us and we assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the content of such advertisements or any third party products or services advertised on the Site.
8. EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY
1. You expressly agree that use of this site is at your own risk.

We do not represent or warrant that our site or any of its contents are accurate, current, complete, reliable or appropriate or that this site, its servers, or e-mails which may be sent from us are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not represent or warrant that access to our site, or any part of it will be uninterrupted, reliable or fault free. We assume no liability or responsibility whatsoever for the contents of the site which are supplied by third parties.

We provide this site, its services and its contents on an “as is” and “as available” basis and make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this site, its products, services or its contents. Accordingly, to the maximum extent permitted by law we provide you with this site, its products, services and contents on the basis that we exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms (including without limitation, the conditions implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and the use of reasonable care and skill).
