The Italian open yacht that proves you don't have to choose between speed and style

There's something undeniably magnetic about an Itama yacht. Perhaps it's the glossy hull slicing through turquoise water at speed or the way the open layout invites the Mediterranean breeze to sweep through every corner of the deck. Whatever it is, the Ferretti Group brand has spent decades perfecting the art of the Italian open yacht, and the new Itama 70 is the latest love letter to that legacy.

At 21.2 metres, the Itama 70 is a contemporary reinterpretation of everything the shipyard stands for: elegant design, exhilarating performance and a close connection with the sea.

Styled by Vallicelli Design, the Itama 70 stays true to the brand's DNA while pushing the aesthetic forward. The profile is clean and minimalist, with large hull windows that flood the interior with natural light and maintain that signature open-air feel.

Step on board, and you'll find yourself in the redesigned aft cockpit and the social heart of the Itama 70. This is where life happens: long, leisurely lunches around the U-shaped dining table and cold drinks from the opposite pantry.

When the meal winds down, it's just a few steps to the stern sunpad area, where you can stretch out under the sun, book in hand, before slipping into the sea from the swim platform below.

For those seeking a more private retreat, the bow sunpad offers panoramic views and a serene escape, with wide side decks that make moving around the yacht easy. Flush with the deck to maintain the yacht's minimalist aesthetics, it's the perfect spot to lie back and let the world fade away.

When the temperature drops or you're ready for a quieter moment, step inside below deck to the interior designed by IdeaeItalia - a palette of calming creams accented by earthy oranges. Here, guests will find an interior dinette and galley, with a dining table for intimate meals and a TV for lazy evenings.

The Itama 70 accommodates six guests across three cabins. The spacious master cabin is positioned aft - an important feature for a 70-foot open yacht - while the VIP double cabin in the bow benefits from windows on either side and a skylight that bathes the space in natural light. A third cabin sits on the port side, and there is an optional crew cabin at the stern behind the engine room.

While the dolce vita lifestyle that Itama is known for is about lounging in the sun, it's also about the feeling of freedom when you take the helm, with the wind in your hair, salt on your skin and nothing but open water ahead. The Itama 70 delivers on that promise in spades. Powered by twin MAN V12 1,400hp engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of 37 knots and cruises comfortably at 33 knots. With an optional 1,550hp upgrade, the Itama 70 reaches a top speed of 39 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots. To ensure comfort both underway and at anchor, the yacht is equipped with a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabiliser.

Whether you're carving through the waves at 39 knots or drifting lazily at anchor in a hidden cove, the Itama 70 offers la dolce vita, reimagined for a new generation. Contact the team at Itama directly for more information.
