You're anchored off the rugged cliffs of Bonifacio, Corsica, coffee in hand on the sundeck, taking in the views as the morning sun climbs higher. By evening, you've crossed to Porto Cervo, Sardinia, where cocktails flow around the bar before dinner is served under the stars on the bridge deck aft.
This is exactly how the current owner of the 52-metre Daybreak has spent the past two seasons. And now, as hull four of just nine in Baglietto's exclusive T52 series, she's available for sale with Josh Gulbranson of Fraser and James Corts of MarineMax, and will be on display at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show in September.
Daybreak has already logged impressive miles across the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Her owner recalls the yacht's first season with particular fondness.
"Our first cruising was special in that we enjoyed St. Barth's for the holidays and then journeyed south to the beautiful waters and beaches of St. Kitts, Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean," he says. "The following season, with a group of great friends, we loved our cruise from Monaco down the coast of Corsica, on to Sardinia and across to Capri, Italy and Amalfi - the history and rugged beauty in Bonifacio contrasted with the elegant sophistication of Porto Cervo and Capri. The Med waters in those areas were equally as appealing to me as the clear Caribbean."
Why the T52 series appeals to experienced owners
For her owner, the decision to choose a Baglietto T52 came down to a combination of space, range and build quality. "The T52 looked and felt like a much larger yacht due to its vast amount of open deck space on every level," he explains. "The obvious quality of the build combined with its long range and dependable and widely serviceable Caterpillar powertrain provided assurance that she would be capable of my desire to cruise in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean seas.”
Daybreak boasts a steel fast displacement hull with a transoceanic range of 4,200 nautical miles at an economical 10 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar 1,470hp engines. Her shallow 2.7-metre draught makes her equally comfortable sliding into marinas or anchoring in secluded bays, while stabilisers ensure a smooth ride both underway and at rest. "Don't underestimate the range capability of this yacht," the owner advises. "Plan some great adventures!”
One of Daybreak's most striking features is her tri-level beach club on the main deck aft. "This beach club design is much more desirable today in the market than the traditional beach club, which was enclosed on the sides with an opening door in the back," says listing broker Josh Gulbranson of Fraser. This design is flush and open with 180-degree views, a pool, sunbeds and a shaded lounge area.
The beach club also connects directly to a lower-deck gym, which could double as a waterside massage space.
Outdoor spaces designed for every occasion
Daybreak offers a versatile selection of outdoor spaces tailored to different moods and moments. The bridge deck aft is configured for al fresco dining, complete with a full-service bar, barbecue and lounge seating for post-dinner relaxation. "In early evening, I love convening for cocktails around the sundeck bar and then heading down to the bridge deck outdoor dining area with our guests and dining under the stars," the owner shares. "Every night seems different and always exhilarating."
The sundeck takes entertaining to another level. With a Jacuzzi, sunbathing areas, a bar, a fire pit and even a DJ station, it's designed for large-scale gatherings. The hardtop provides 2.3 metres of ceiling height, creating a sense of openness without sacrificing shade.
"As we are departing an area, usually in the morning, I like to be on the upper sundeck aft with a coffee, watching the powerful wake and disappearing land, then shifting forward to the foredeck to watch the seas and land ahead," the owner says.
Tender and toy storage is cleverly integrated into the bow, keeping the aft decks clear for guests.
Art Deco interiors with a Riva aesthetic
Step inside Daybreak and the influence of Studio Vafiadis is immediately apparent. The interior design takes inspiration from modern Art Deco and the classic "Riva" aesthetic, featuring mahogany flooring and woodwork, gleaming hardware, pops of blue and stainless steel finishings. This design sets Daybreak apart from other T52 yachts and gives her a distinct personality.
With an internal volume of 494GT and maximised ceiling heights throughout, the yacht feels visually expansive. Guests are greeted by a main saloon with comfortable lounge seating and a formal dining area forward. Up top, a cosy skylounge provides the perfect setting for movie nights and intimate gatherings.
Daybreak accommodates 10 guests across five cabins. The owner's suite, located on the main deck, stretches the full 9.5-metre beam and has left a lasting impression on the current owner. "I love our master stateroom," he says when asked what he will miss most about the yacht. "It’s always a great sleep and a wonderful, relaxing shower in a beautiful, Italian-styled master bathroom.” Three double cabins and one twin cabin are located on the lower deck, while separate quarters house a crew of 10.
