ISA custom 80m launched as yard confirms 20 yachts under construction

Large yacht construction demands much more than ambition. It requires engineering precision and the organisational capacity to manage projects of extraordinary complexity over multi-year timelines. For Palumbo Superyachts, this capability is expanding rapidly.

Following years of continuous investment in infrastructure, people and production capacity, Palumbo Superyachts is today managing a substantial pipeline of complex steel and aluminium yachts, including several projects above 60 metres and extending up to 100 metres.

The numbers reflect the scale of this evolution. Palumbo Superyachts currently holds an approximately €1 billion order book, with 20 yachts under construction across the shipyard's production facilities.

Continued investment in production capacity, including the new Ortona facility, will further strengthen the shipyard's ability to build large yachts at scale.

As further confirmation of this trajectory, ISA Yachts has just delivered ISA Gran Turismo 67-metre Sea Raider X.

The yacht represents a significant milestone in the brand's large-yacht portfolio, combining the Gran Turismo line's distinctive stylistic identity with the construction complexity and level of customisation expected from a contemporary 60-plus-metre superyacht.

A new approach to full custom

At the heart of Palumbo Superyachts' large-yacht strategy is the recently launched ISA Large Yacht Collection, conceived for projects between 80 and 100 metres.

The Collection is an advanced design and engineering platform that combines a proven technical foundation with complete freedom of customisation. Every yacht is developed around the owner, with layouts, architecture and exterior styling shaped according to their lifestyle.

This approach reflects Palumbo Superyachts' belief that the future of large-yacht construction lies in providing owners with the technical confidence of an established platform without limiting the creative freedom associated with a true full-custom project.

Amarcord: The first expression of the Collection

The first project representing the philosophy of the ISA Large Yacht Collection is ISA Amarcord - yachts ranging from 82 to 86 metres designed by Nuvolari Lenard. Amarcord combines sporty lines with a strong emphasis on the relationship between architecture, natural light and the sea.

Expansive glazed surfaces and numerous hull openings establish a continuous visual connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Among the project's defining features are a stern platform directly connected to the beach club, two large fold-down balconies and a glass-bottomed swimming pool positioned above the beach club.

The ISA Large Yacht Collection will be further developed through two additional collaborations with Lobanov Design and Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi. Together with Amarcord, these projects will demonstrate how the same large-yacht philosophy can generate completely different design identities.

The yachts above 60 metres currently under construction demonstrate the shipyard's ability to manage the engineering, production and organisational complexity required by the new generation of large custom yachts.

ISA Custom 100m

At the top of construction portfolio is the new 100-metre Custom, a landmark project with delivery scheduled for 2029 that takes Palumbo Superyachts firmly into the “giga-yacht” segment. Designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, the yacht has been conceived as a grand coupé of the sea, with a streamlined profile and a long aggressive bow.

Built in a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht has an internal volume of 2,999GT and features a certified helideck. The accommodation includes six double guest cabins - while the owner benefits from an entire dedicated deck – and there are separate quarters for a crew of 31.

ISA Custom 80m

Having just launched and christened Belita, the ISA Custom 80m has an internal volume of approximately 2,150GT. The exterior design is by Espen Øino International, with interiors by Peter Marino Architect, while Palumbo Superyachts is responsible for the naval engineering.

The superyacht is the yard's new flagship and demonstrates its ability to coordinate highly complex large-yacht programmes involving internationally renowned design studios while retaining direct control of the yacht's technical development and construction.

ISA Gran Turismo 80m

The ISA GT 80m Project Future represents the evolution of ISA's Gran Turismo DNA into the large-yacht segment. Scheduled for delivery in 2027, exterior and interior design are by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, with naval architecture developed by Palumbo Superyachts.

Conceived as a sporting coupé, the yacht is characterised by sinuous lines and an architectural approach designed to dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. A forward infinity pool is directly connected to the owner's suite through an illuminated walkway, while the owner's accommodation itself has been conceived as a glasshouse with opening floor-to-ceiling windows.

The 80-metre yacht accommodates up to 14 guests in seven cabins and offers a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

ISA GT 68m

A new 68-metre ISA GT has been sold to an American owner, with delivery scheduled for 2028. Based on the platform that produced 66.4-metre Okto, she features exterior design by Vallicelli, with interiors by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi. Built in steel and aluminium, the model features a “dynamic and powerful” silhouette, characterised by iconic brand elements including the arches connecting the three decks and the circular dining area on the main deck.

The design enhances the connection with the ocean through opening platforms at beach club level, complete with a gym, lounge and spa. Aft, a striking swimming pool takes centre stage, flanked by an outdoor lounge.

Accommodation is for up to 14 guests across seven cabins: three on the main deck, including a forward-positioned owner's suite, and four additional double cabins on the lower deck. The owner's suite features a dressing area, bathroom with double sinks and shower, and a private lounge with desk.

Performance-wise, the ISA GT 68 has true ocean-going capability, with two MTU 12V4000M65L engines delivering 1,771 kW each, allowing her to cruise at 14 knots, topping out at 17.5 knots, with a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.

ISA Sportiva 66m

Currently in the outfitting stage, the ISA Sportiva 66m represents a highly dynamic interpretation of the ISA identity. Exterior and interior design are by Nuvolari Lenard, while naval engineering has been developed by ISA Yachts’ technical team.

The yacht features a sporty profile with a set-back superstructure and pronounced reverse bow. Among the principal onboard features are a large scenic swimming pool on the aft deck, a gym and a second custom pool on the sundeck. With delivery slated for 2027, the yacht is built in a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots.

ISA Classic 65m

The second unit of the ISA Classic 65m, based on the proven platform of Resilience, combines classic proportions with advanced technical solutions. Designed inside and out by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, the 1,420GT displacement yacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

With delivery scheduled for 2028, highlights include a full-beam owner's suite with double fold-down balcony, a large swimming pool on the main deck, a Jacuzzi on the fly deck and an extensive beach club incorporating lounge, bar, gym, sauna and massage area.

ISA Spectre 62m

The first yacht in the new Spectre line, conceived by Giuseppe Palumbo and designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, introduces a clean design language characterised by minimalism.

The descending central decks create a dynamic profile, while the aluminium superstructure incorporates extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing, slim deck structures and glass balustrades to create a sense of immersion in the surrounding seascape.

Scheduled for delivery in 2029, the ISA Spectre 62m represents the introduction of a new design philosophy within the ISA portfolio.
