Renowned for its recognisable, sporty-style boats, Riva has long been a popular brand in the luxury yachting market. Among its fleet is the Riva 76 Bahamas, of which a particularly special model has surfaced on the market. The 23.7-metre Baby Pearl was built in 2021 and stands out not just for her beloved design but also for her various custom features tailored to the owner’s preferences.
Notably, Baby Pearl was commissioned brand-new from the shipyard with specifications tailored for the US market, bypassing the need for conversion from European standards. As a result, she is in pristine condition and perfectly suited for a new American owner. BOAT takes a closer look at her standout features…
From open to coupé
A connection with the surrounding environment has become a prominent trend in today’s yachting market and the Riva 76 Bahamas model embodies this with its open design. Baby Pearl, however, distinguishes herself from other models with her hydraulic C-top system, offering guests the flexibility to enjoy either open-air freedom or be shielded from the elements while lounging outside.
The yacht boasts a striking custom metallic grey hull accentuated by bespoke carbon fibre inserts. On deck, guests are treated to an array of amenities. The aft deck features sun loungers and sunpads, which can be covered for those who prefer shade, while additional sunpads on the foredeck provide another secluded spot for relaxation. Amidships, an L-shaped sofa and a dining table create an ideal setting for al fresco dining.
Ultra-modern interior
Below deck, Baby Pearl welcomes guests into a modern interior space, characterised by neutral tones with cream upholstery that contrasts with light-coloured woods. The spacious saloon features an L-shaped sofa surrounding a custom motorised dining table, which can be raised or lowered to suit different dining needs and expanded with additional leaves to accommodate extra guests. The yacht's galley has been thoughtfully redesigned, with the door and wall removed to create a contemporary, open-plan space. This flexible layout allows guests to either cook and socialise together or enjoy meals prepared by a personal chef.
There is accommodation on board for up to six guests in three ensuite cabins adorned with Calcutta marble flooring and tops. These include a master stateroom, VIP and twin, along with additional quarters for two crew members. The master stateroom is particularly noteworthy, featuring Poltrona Frau leather accents and an upgraded AV and surround sound system. For a more open feel, the owner opted to remove the doorway to the bathroom, while retaining doors for privacy in the head and shower areas.
Performance that packs a punch
At the helm, captains and owners will find an aesthetic and intuitive touchscreen dashboard. Baby Pearl is equipped with all the amenities expected of a luxury yacht, including bow and stern thrusters for manoeuvring and zero-speed stabilisers to ensure maximum onboard comfort.
Baby Pearl boasts low engine hours, propelling her to an impressive top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots, with a 320 nautical mile range at cruising speed. Her shallow two-metre draught makes her compatible with most marinas worldwide, including the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
For those looking to explore hidden beaches and coves, Baby Pearl's tender garage houses a Williams 340 Jet, while a hydraulic platform ensures easy launching and retrieval.
Always berthed under cover from new, Baby Pearl is in tip-top condition with immediate availability, ready for a new owner to make her their own.
