The Genoa International Boat Show returns

21 January 2019

Celebrating its 59th year, The Genoa International Boat Show (Salone Nautico) will return to the Italian port city from September 19 – 24, 2019. Considered one of Europe’s premiere yacht shows, this five-day event will see hundreds of exhibitors from across the globe come together to showcase the latest previews in the yachting industry, from engines and electronics to accessories and design.

The Genoa International Boat Show welcomes exhibitors from across the globe to come and showcase the latest in yachting design

The show is organised by UCINA - the Italian Marine Industry Association – and will take place at exhibition centre Fiera di Genova as well as parts of the old town and the port of Genoa. Located on the Italian Riviera, with a busy port and long history in boat building, Genoa is well-positioned to host such a recognised yachting event.

The show has continued to grow since its conception in 1962 and has gone from strength to strength. Last year’s edition saw great success, hosting 951 exhibitors across 200,000 metres squared of land and water and welcoming a record number of visitors (174,610), from members of the boating industry to yachting enthusiasts. Plus, there's an increasing international presence - at last year's show a third of visitors were from abroad.

The exhibition is also accompanied by a number of seminars and discussions with leading industry experts on yacht brokerage, yacht charter, yacht transportation and delivery within the Mediterranean and worldwide.

Tickets will be available on their website from August 20, 2019.
