Discover two new ultra-luxurious retreats to add to your travel list

These openings bring the collection’s distinctive philosophy of hyper-personalised service, striking design and wellness-led experiences to both urban and alpine settings, offering ultra-high-net-worth travellers new ways to experience Switzerland’s most iconic destinations.

Situated in a palatial historic building in Geneva’s premier lakeside neighbourhood, Ultima Quai Wilson Geneva offers one of the city’s most exclusive urban addresses. Guests can enjoy the discretion of a private home while being steps from the shores of Lake Geneva and within walking distance of the city’s cultural landmarks, luxury shopping streets and world-renowned dining.
The property features five full-floor residences, designed for extended stays and crafted by Ultima Collection’s in-house design team in a warm, earthy palette. Each residence blends heritage architecture with modern living, offering state-of-the-art kitchens with Miele appliances, open plan living and dining spaces suited to both relaxation and entertaining, and spacious layouts spanning three to six bedrooms.
Families and small groups will find the three-suite apartments ideal, while larger parties may prefer the four-bedroom residences, one of which features a private terrace. Towering above them all is Residence 5, a two-storey penthouse with five en suite bedrooms, its own private gym and a rooftop terrace that frames panoramic views of Mont Blanc.
Wellness is at the heart of the Geneva residences. Drawing inspiration from the tranquil waters of the lake, the spa offers a hammam, relaxation area and freshly stocked fruit bar, as well as two private treatment rooms. Here, guests can indulge in therapies by pioneering skincare brands Augustinus Bader and Seed to Skin Tuscany.
For those seeking even more bespoke service, Ultima Collection’s renowned hyper-personalised offering is available at an additional cost, from a dedicated house manager and concierge to private chefs, drivers and in-residence spa therapists.
On the cusp of winter 2025, Ultima Collection will open Ultima Promenade Gstaad, an expansive eight-bedroom chalet designed to host up to 20 guests. With a prime location right on the Promenade - the beating heart of Gstaad - the property places visitors amid the village’s most exclusive boutiques, including Louis Vuitton and Hermès, and within easy reach of world-class events ranging from the Menuhin Festival & Academy to the Hublot Polo Gold Cup. An expert in-house team is on hand to design unforgettable experiences, whether that means securing VIP tickets to a game, arranging heliskiing adventures, or organising serene hikes and watersports in summer.
Steeped in history, the chalet was originally built by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV as a private retreat for friends and family visiting Gstaad. Today, Ultima Collection has reimagined it as a haven of alpine luxury, spread across four floors.
The interiors nod to its alpine setting, with two spacious living rooms, a wraparound terrace, a roaring open fire and a double-height dining room where a Michelin-trained private chef prepares lavish, tailored feasts. A state-of-the-art kitchen supports both private and professional dining experiences.
One entire floor is dedicated to wellbeing and entertainment. Guests can unwind in a private cinema, arcade room, nightclub and cigar lounge. Meanwhile, the wellness area includes a spa with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi and snow shower, alongside a gym and treatment rooms with therapies by Augustinus Bader and Seed to Skin Tuscany. After a day on the slopes, few places rival this for restoration.
Art meets hospitality
Both new properties will also debut Ultima Collection’s partnership with Geneva-based Artion Galleries, which aims to bring a fresh cultural dimension to the guest experience. Each residence will feature rotating exhibitions of contemporary art, curated by Artion’s expert team and tailored to both the property’s interiors and each guest’s personal profile.
These bespoke curations draw from both established names and emerging artists. Guests will find themselves surrounded by an immersive art environment that feels deeply personal. For those who wish to take their journey home, artworks will be available for purchase via Artion Galleries at the end of their stay.

The evolution of Ultima Collection
Founded in 2016 with the opening of Ultima Gstaad Hotel, Ultima Collection has since expanded rapidly to include properties in Crans-Montana, Megève, Geneva, Corfu, Courchevel and Cannes. Each destination offers its own distinctive character, yet all are united by the brand’s focus on design inspired by the surrounding landscape, round-the-clock service and a dedication to wellness and personalised living.
The launches of Ultima Quai Wilson Geneva and Ultima Promenade Gstaad represent the next chapter in this evolution. With these additions, Ultima Collection continues to lead when it comes to luxury hospitality in the 21st century.
