Having been launched in 2014 for an experienced owner, there has already been plenty said about the 58-metre superyacht Illusion V. Since her delivery, she has spent her time thoroughly exploring the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Despite being a well-documented yacht within the Camper & Nicholsons charter fleet, Illusion V has recently been captured in a new light. Seen in a brand-new photoshoot in her familiar stomping ground of Ibiza, we reveal some of the more undiscovered sides of the versatile and brilliant Benetti build.
Day-to-night beach club
For those who want to drop down from the dizzy heights of the yacht’s glorious top decks, the beach club is the place to be. Not only can this space be used as the go-to access point for the water, but also offers guests a place to recharge, rehydrate and relax.
The full bar with its own beer tap is more than welcome after a few hours flying across the water on one of the yacht’s super-cool Jetsurf boards. For those who prefer to keep the heart rate down, the beach club’s serene waterside hangout can be set up with anything from yoga mats to sun loungers.
Although used predominantly during the day, the beach club has also been used to give guests a memorable evening. Once under the stars with the yacht’s lighting illuminating the nearby surroundings, couples have been able to enjoy a romantic dinner with the soft noise of the waves heard in the background.
During recent charters, it has been noticed how well-suited Illusion V is for guests of all ages. Perfect for timely family reunions, sweet-16 birthday parties and group holidays, Illusion V is a yacht that has something for everyone. The crew is on-hand at all times to make sure that everyone is happy, making the most of the fun amenities and time on board. Activities such as couple massages and spa treatments with the onboard masseuse, lunchtime barbeque cookouts on the sun deck and cocktails in the Jacuzzi can be arranged to suit whatever those onboard fancy. For any event, regardless of the area, guests are kept comfortable and private from the outside world.
To relax after the party, Illusion V has accommodation for up to 12 guests across her six suites including an expansive master stateroom with its own private study and a full-width VIP suite.
With such a long list of features, it is no surprise that Illusion V comes with an incomparable selection of water toys comprising an inflatable slide, Seabobs, Jetskis, Jetsurf board and Scuba gear, fishing equipment and inflatables. But such toys are virtually useless if guests aren’t sure how to operate the equipment; that’s why the team of 13 excellent crew members are well versed and expertly trained to know how to get the most out of the yacht’s toy store.
They also know how to take care of everything guests could possibly need on board – including some interior maintenance, as the yacht’s pristine design by Green & Mingarelli Design includes no fewer than 480 crystals spread across the floor, ceilings and walls. Designed to represent the epitome of elegance, Illusion V was built with exotic materials such as walnut, onyx, Lalique crystal, parchment and silks. With such an inviting backdrop to the stunning vistas viewed from the full-height windows – all of which are kept sparkling by the crew.
