Founded in Norway in 1966 by Hugo Vold, Windy Boats has spent six decades building high-performance motorboats defined by Scandinavian craftsmanship, seaworthiness and attention to detail.

Today, Windy is headquartered and built in Västervik on Sweden’s Baltic coast, where more than 170 skilled professionals combine advanced engineering with traditional boatbuilding expertise. From 26 to 77 feet, the range spans from refined sports boats and cruisers to highly specialised yacht tenders and chase boats.

At the heart of every Windy is a performance-driven deep-V hull, engineered for confident handling and extensively tested at sea before delivery. This focus on performance is complemented by meticulous craftsmanship and finishing, premium materials and purposeful Scandinavian design.

Windy also works closely with some of the world’s leading yacht designers and naval architects. Long-standing collaborations with names including Espen Øino and Malcolm McKeon have created models such as the SR40, award-winning SR60 and upcoming flagship SR77.
