Kora Yachts

Kora Yachts is a specialist sailing charter company offering bespoke cruising and racing experiences on board performance sailing yachts. Founded by offshore sailors, the company focuses on immersive, hands-on adventures that combine the comfort of luxury yacht charter with the challenge and reward of sailing.

Formerly known as Austrian Ocean Racing, the company rebranded as Kora in 2026 to reflect its increasingly international clientele and broader offering. While its roots lie in competitive offshore racing, Kora now operates experiences ranging from relaxed Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising to participation in some of the world's leading superyacht regattas.

Its fleet includes the 30.6-metre Wally sailing yacht Vantanera, designed by Germán Frers and relaunched following a comprehensive 2025 refit. The carbon-fibre yacht is available for private charter as well as regatta campaigns, allowing guests to cruise secluded anchorages or compete in events such as the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, Ibiza JoySail and the St Barths Bucket.

Kora also operates the VO65 Sisi, a purpose-built offshore racing yacht that has competed in major international events including The Ocean Race Europe, the RORC Transatlantic Race and the Rolex Middle Sea Race. Together, the two yachts allow Kora to offer experiences that span luxury cruising, offshore passages and competitive sailing.

A defining feature of Kora is its professional sailing team. The company is led by experienced offshore sailors, including co-founders Konstantin Kobale and Oliver Kobale, the latter of which is the captain on Vantanera and has completed two Ocean Race campaigns and more than 150,000 nautical miles offshore. Guests can choose how involved they wish to be, from relaxing under sail to taking the helm, learning sail trim and sailing alongside a crew with extensive racing experience.
