Round Up: The Best of LYNX Yachts

22 June 2020 • Written by Lynx Yachts

We round up five of the best LYNX yachts perfect for intrepid owners wanting to explore the world.

YXT 20

The smallest and most compact yacht in LYNX’s YXT series, the YXT 20 packs a punch. The 21.45 metre support vessel is fully customisable, with a range of bespoke options to ensure each vessel is unique. Owners can increase the accommodation or storage on board to carry more toys and tenders. The 45 square metre main deck is set up to carry a range of toys, including Jet Skis, tenders, submersibles and even SUVs. The elite carrying capability is made possible thanks to two on board cranes. The first 1.7 tonne lifting capacity crane sits on the main deck while the second 0.5 tonne lifting capacity crane sits on the stern to serve the beach club. Elsewhere, the yacht features a massage room and gym, as well as accommodation for four crew in two twin cabins.

YXT 24 Evolution

This go-anywhere, highly capable support vessel has been developed to offer even more choice, maximising customisation options to ensure each vessel is unique. The 27 metre support yacht boasts additional accommodation and a substantial 24 square metre beach club platform which acts as an extension of the main deck and extends into the ocean.

The 74 square metre main deck meanwhile is specifically engineered to carry all the toys and tenders the owner could possibly want, including Jet Skis, submersibles, helicopters and road vehicles. Elsewhere, the Darnet Design-penned interior offers 360 degree views out to see, a 28 square metre gym, large galley and plenty of storage. Accommodation is for three guests and four crew.

Adventure 32

Featuring exterior design by Bernd Weel Design, this 32 metre explorer takes design inspiration from the masculine styling of the YXT range with a clean, contemporary profile and strong, vertical bow. Built to explore the most remote regions on earth, the Adventure 32 features an extensive aft deck and swim platform for a close connection to the water and easy launching of toys and tenders. There are plentiful opportunities to customise the yacht, with accommodation available for either eight guests and eight crew or 10 guests and 10 crew.

Crossover 27

The first model in LYNX’s Crossover series, this 27.4 metre model combines the luxury of a superyacht with the capability of a support vessel. The fully customisable expedition yacht features a 70 square metre main deck which, like the YXT Series, can be used to stow multiple tenders and toys. The space can also double as a huge entertainment area when clear.

Two cranes, one with a 3.6 ton lifting capacity on the main deck, and a second with a one ton lifting capability on the upper deck, ensure the owner can carry their favourite toys on all their adventures. Accommodation is for a maximum of four crew in two double cabins and six guests in a master and two double guest cabins. Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar C12.9 850hp engines for a top speed of 14 knots and range of 1350 nautical miles at a 12.5 metre cruising speed.

YXT 34 Plus

With a wide range of customisation options, the YXT 34 Plus can be matched in finish and furniture to its mothership. The yacht, which features exterior design by Bernd Weel Design, retains and quality and flexibility of the YXT 24 Evolution, with a 145 square metre open deck for the storage of large tenders and toys.

YXT 34 Plus

A 7.5 tonne lifting capacity crane can launch and retrieve the tenders, while the aft deck becomes a huge entertainment terrace while clear. Below deck, a 62 square metre gym is located aft of the engine room and fitted with glass sliding doors that allow natural light to pour into the space while providing far reaching ocean views and direct access to the beach club. It is also possible to create a massage area here. The crew mess has three double crew cabins. The yacht also features two 14.5 square metre rooms to house an ironing station, three laundry machines, tumble dryers and a large fridge and freezer. The guest accommodation is customisable to the owner’s wishes.
