Brokerage market normalises in June after biggest month on record

May saw the highest monthly yacht brokerage sales value on record, with the majority of the €863.2 million sum attributed to the sale of the 115-metre Lürssen yacht Lady Jorgia (formerly Ahpo) – also believed to be the most expensive brokerage sale in history. 

The total value of brokerage sales fell in June by comparison, reaching €329.1 million across 41 transactions. This included one new build sale on the brokerage market, with the first 40-metre Mangusta Maxi Open 132E model going to an American buyer through TWW Yachts.* But despite the drop in value, the number of sales remained steady against the previous month, where 45 yachts had exchanged hands.
