Each week, BOAT International shines a spotlight on the standout yachts available for charter around the world. This week, we step aboard the 54-metre Baglietto motor yacht, Mischief, which has recently completed a $15,000,000 refit and is heading to Fiji this winter. She is available for charter from July to September 2025.
This winter, the South Pacific welcomes Australia's largest commercial superyacht, Mischief. Having completed a $15 million refit at The Yard Brisbane in Hemmant, Australia, the 54-metre yacht has become available in the tropical waters of the South Pacific, offering an opportunity for guests to experience Fiji.
Mischief returns to the charter scene with upgraded interiors, refreshed entertainment systems and enhanced guest comforts. The yacht for charter also underwent a new paint job, removing Mischief's characteristic red boot stripe, as well as receiving new teak for the swim platform and new exterior windows. Why charter Mischief?
Built in 2006 by Baglietto, the 54-metre Mischief was designed with an exterior and interior by Francesco Paszkowski Design. The socialising space has long since set her apart, with a large main saloon, upper deck saloon and exterior lounge spaces. Out on deck, she has a large sundeck with a Jacuzzi, bar and further lounge areas, plus plenty of space for dining and sunbathing. She can even transform into an event platform, accommodating up to 180 guests for cocktail receptions.
Inside, Mischief boasts both formal and al fresco dining options, and a bridge deck lounge for pre-dinner cocktails. Her interiors are vibrant, filled with natural light and have contemporary flair, blending bold navy tones with playful design accents.
This season, Mischief heads to Fiji, where she will cruise its turquoise waters from July to September.
"Fiji is one of the world’s most enchanting cruising destinations, and Mischief is the perfect platform to explore it from," said Sophie Wood, charter manager at Ahoy Club. "With her expansive deck spaces, six-cabin layout, and world-class crew, she offers a level of luxury and versatility that’s unmatched in the South Pacific."
Interior mood
Mischief’s 2024 refit has revitalised every aspect of the yacht's interiors. Spaces feel fresh, refined and filled with colour and texture – seen best in the bridge deck lounge with its patterned curved furniture. Guests can enjoy formal or casual dining, workouts in the gym, sunset cocktails on the sundeck, or soak in the Jacuzzi under a South Pacific sky. Her entertainment and AV systems are also up to modern superyacht standards.
The main saloon is home to the formal dining area and is flooded with natural light thanks to expansive windows that frame the space. The pale wooden floors and curved ivory furnishings create a serene, gallery-like atmosphere, while cobalt blue glassware and marine-inspired décor add pops of colour. Social spaces on board feel polished, but also welcoming – perfect for everything from relaxed lunches to formal evening feasts.
Best deck moments
Like all successful charter yachts, Mischief has sensational exteiror spaces primed for entertaining. During the 2024 refit all deck spaces were upgraded, making her feel fresh for her season in Fiji. The sundeck is a particular highlight, with a generously sized Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads – perfect for lounging under the South Pacific sun with a cocktail in hand. A retractable sunroof provides optional shade, while a fully stocked bar and ample seating transform the space into an effortless social hub. Whether you’re watching the sunset over the Yasawa Islands or dancing beneath the stars, the sundeck invites both serenity and celebration.
Elsewhere, the upper and aft decks cater to al fresco dining and relaxed living. The bridge deck lounge flows onto an outdoor area ideal for morning coffees or late-night nightcaps, while the main aft deck offers a more formal setting for long lunches with a sea breeze. Wide decks allow for uninterrupted views and privacy, even during busy charters. Ultimately, Mischief is known for her adaptability, with spaces suited for everything from intimate dinners to 100-guest soirées.
How many guests goes Mischief sleep?
With six well-appointed cabins, Mischief can accommodate 12 guests. The cabins and crew quarters underwent a "full makeover" as a result of her 2024 refit. The spaces now have new ceilings, wall panels, flooring and soft furnishings, Light woods and a soft colour palette characterise her new look, which differs slightly in each cabin with the occasional gold detailing.
Clean lines, comfortable textiles, and thoughtful touches like mirrored panels, integrated bedside lighting, and fresh orchids create a calming on board feel. Large windows also flood each of the cabins with natural light.

Ensuring every day on the water is filled with adventure and fun, Mischief has a top selection of water toys. Guests can glide across the sea on Fliteboards, carve through the waves on Jet Skis, or take things slower with paddleboards and SeaBobs.
