Dutch design studio Vripack has unveiled the first interior renderings of Alia Yachts' 60-metre project Serenity. The yacht is currently under construction at the Turkish yard's facilities in Antalya and is scheduled for delivery in 2026, according to BOATPro.
The project has reunited the same build team that worked on the 55-metre Al Waab, comprising the Dutch studio and the Dubai-based SF Yachts, which is acting as the owner’s representative. According to Alia Yachts, the superyacht was commissioned by “an experienced yachtsman who has owned numerous vessels of varying sizes over the past decade.”
“Having partnered with the owner for nearly two decades, SF Yachts has long been entrusted with turning vision into reality," said Francesco Pitea, CEO at SF Yachts. "For Serenity, we brought together the exceptional team of Vripack and Alia Yachts in our second joint collaboration. Sharing the owner’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and family-centred design, the result merges technical mastery with a warm, private sanctuary for generations."
Vripack is behind both the exterior and interior design of the 1,000GT new build, working closely alongside the shipyard's in-house atelier to deliver the owner's vision.
Serenity is described by the studio as being "opulent and reserved" as well as "inviting and stately" with a refined tone that flows throughout her four decks. The owner's brief requested a "warm and sumptuous" interior for a multigenerational retreat where the family could reconnect after long days on the water. As such, Vripack opted for a "high-gloss, high-tactile" environment.
This can be seen throughout the new build, from the main saloon's polished Italian Calacatta marble flooring to the leather ceiling embossed with subtle Middle Eastern motifs in the multifunctional sky lounge cinema. The guest hallway to the owner’s suite is a standout on its own, with layers of leather, rosewood, marble inlays and custom lighting creating a dramatic entrance.
Vripack’s signature transitional lighting scheme is also on board: by day, natural light via full-height windows and by night, bespoke lighting for a softened ambience.
“Serenity is a true testament to our expertise in crafting intricate, luxurious, and custom yacht interiors,” commented Aykut Berhan, interior manager at Alia Yachts. “There’s a warmth to Serenity’s interior design that welcomes you and makes you feel at home. The skilled mix of materials, such as wood, leather, marble, and steel, truly creates a masterpiece."
Berhan continued: "In close collaboration with Vripack, our in-house interiors atelier is delivering bespoke solutions that seamlessly blend beauty and functionality to create a space that is both formal and relaxing. This project showcases the strength of teamwork and precision, ensuring the final result reflects the highest."
The interior highlights continue, including in the dayhead and guest bathrooms, which are each defined by their own signature colour and fitted with marble basins and Foglizzo leather-wrapped vanities. The six guest cabins (two twin and four VIPs) are finished with "artisanal patterned carpets" - each one said to have required eight months to produce.
Simply put, according to Bart Bouwhuis, co-creative director at Vripack, “Serenity is one of our most dazzling interiors yet."
“I dreamed of a place where I can be together with my family in comfort, seclusion and style. Serenity, with its free-flowing design and light-filled interior, promises to be that place, a beautiful home on the water,” said the owner.
The yacht is designed for easy navigation and maintenance, with the galley and crew saloon found forward of the main deck - also host to a technical room and side-loading tender garage. Elsewhere, a “sprawling” beach club sits on the lower deck, complete with a massage room, dive store, gym and steam shower. The master stateroom is located on the upper deck, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and private lounge and foredeck terrace.
According to BOATPro, Alia Yachts currently has seven yachts on order and under construction. Serenity is shadowed by only five metres as the yard's largest project, beaten by the custom 65-metre superyacht, known provisionally as hull ALY651, which was sold this year.
