History of Van der Heijden
Former Royal Dutch Navy propulsion engineer Ronald Van der Heijden left the navy and founded luxury yacht builder Van der Heijden Yachts in 1993. Since then, the shipyard, which is located in Waalwijk, The Netherlands, has delivered more than 400 luxury motor yachts. Each Van der Heijden Yachts luxury yacht combines cutting-edge styling, Dutch craftsmanship and performance.
In 2014, luxury yacht builder Van der Heijden collaborated with well-known yacht designer Cor d. Rover to launch a new line of semi-custom luxury yachts under the Hayden brand name.
Notable Van der Heijden Launches
Luxury yacht builder Van der Heijden Yachts launched the 23.9M Superior 2400 Motoryacht Angels in 2011. Luxury motor yacht Angels features a chined steel hull hull and aluminium superstructure. Twin 825-hp Inveco engines take Angels to a top speed of 25 knots and a cruise speed of 22 knots.
