The Swan 88 sits at the entry point to the world of maxi yachting. Described as a ‘no-compromise cruiser with a racer soul’, the design is an evolution of the brand’s fleet of racer-cruisers and is equipped with a series of all-new features never before seen on a Swan.
Drawing on years of experience building bluewater cruisers and high-octane racers, paired with the design talents of German Frers, the Swan 88 offers efficient, uncomplicated and easily managed sailing. Twin rudders come as standard but prospective owners have the option of a shallow-draft, telescopic or performance keels. With a load line length of less than 24m, the Swan 88 is economical to run and manage, and serves as an appealing charter option too.
The deck is a versatile space that can be configured for racing or cruising thanks to the cockpit’s modular benches, with coachroof set-up with an integrated sprayhood and bimini. The winches and steering pedestals are positioned in the centre allowing space at the stern for a new beach area for lounging at the water’s edge. A second sunbathing spot can be found forward of the mast above a large sail locker.
Below, the interior has been designed with comfort in mind. Accommodation is for up to eight guests with a master suite forward, a lounge to port and a dining area to starboard.
