Burgess and Camper & Nicholsons sell motor yacht S.Q.N

20 February 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

There seems no reason now why we shouldn't reach the end-February 2011 tally of 31 yachts sold as Burgess tells me their central listing, the 38.6m motor yacht S.Q.N. is now sold with Jordan Waugh at Camper & Nicholsons acting for the buyer, making 26 sales so far in 2012.

Designed by Dubois, this all-aluminium superyacht was built to Lloyds class by New Zealand’s Alloy Yachts in 2003 and is MCA compliant. The interior by Donald Starkey features sycamore and vavona redwood burl joinery, with book matched panelling and doors. Judicious use of leather trim and custom leather door-handles adds a pleasing touch of class and texture to the interior.

S.Q.N. cruises at 13 knots with a range of 2,530 nautical miles and sleeps up to nine guests in a master, two doubles and a twin cabin plus a Pullman berth.

S.Q.N. was asking €7.95 million.
