History of Ocean Alexander
The inception of Ocean Alexander marked a pivotal moment in the Taiwan yacht sector. Founder Alex Chueh was approached by a close friend in a financial bind, seeking assistance during a challenging period. Demonstrating his deep commitment to friendship and his astute business acumen, Chueh agreed to take over the shipyard operations, thus laying the groundwork for what would become Ocean Alexander. Chueh soon met boat designer Ed Monk, Jr. and Ocean Alexander was born. In 1978, the company delivered its first vessel - a 12-metre fibreglass motor yacht, Mark I, designed by Monk. In 2000, leadership transitioned to Johnny Chueh, who has continued his father's legacy of innovation and excellence, steering the company to new heights.
