News in now from James Greenwood at De Valk that he’s been appointed central agent for sale of the impressive 49m motor yacht Thunder B.
Custom built by Oceanfast in 1998, Thunder B’s sleek exterior and understated yet sumptuous interior was completed to designs by the late Jon Bannenberg, with naval architecture by Phil Curran. She is fully compliant with MCA and DNV standards.
‘Especially notable is her propulsion,’ says James, ‘Twin 2950hp MTU diesel engines, a 4600hp TF40 gas turbine, and 70,500-litre fuel tanks allow for speeds of at least 30 knots, and a range of 1000 nautical miles. At the same time, her bowthrusters ensure excellent manoeuvrability even at low speeds and in narrow anchorages.'
Thunder B offers accommodation for up to ten guests in five suites, comprising two double and three twin cabins. The master stateroom is full beam and is complemented with a whirlpool bath and steam room.
Thunder B is asking €5 million.
