4 March 2021 • Written by Malcolm Maclean

The 26.52 metre Johnson motor yacht Fitnautic, listed for sale by Dean Young at HMY Yacht Sales, has been sold in-house.

Built from a GRP hull and superstructure to a design by Bill Dixon, Fitnautic was launched by Johnson Yachts in 2007 as part of the yard’s Johnson 87 flybridge series and has been carefully maintained ever since, including a refit in 2017. Her calm, welcoming interior in teak veneers by designer Liz Dalton can accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and port and starboard doubles, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Fitnautic was asking $2,495,000

In the main deck saloon, panelled in teak, is a full marble-topped wet bar with ice maker and fridge immediately to starboard, while opposite is a three-person settee with two matching ottomans facing an entertainment centre featuring a 44-inch Sony HD television screen and a Crestron high-tech stereo surround sound system. Forward is the formal dining area with seating for eight guests and storage cabinets to port and starboard for glassware, china and cutlery.

Outdoors, the large aft deck lends itself to al fresco entertaining and dining, offering a U-shaped banquette seating eight guests and a custom adjustable dining table. Up on the flybridge are two Airtex helm chairs protected by a GRP hard top, a bar and fridge, Miele electric barbecue grill and a teak dining table with seating for eight guests. Twin 1,675hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 18 knots, topping out at 22 knots.

Fitnautic was asking $2,495,000.
