A further €800,000 price drop has been announced on the 32.6-metre Wally sloop Spirit of Malouen X, listed for sale with Youri Loof and Laurent Pagès of Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage (BGYB).

Delivered in 2012 as the first Wallycento Hamilton, the carbon-fibre composite cruiser-racer was built at Green Marine in the UK. She was designed by top naval architects Judel-Vrolijk, along with Monk Design and Design Unlimited.

Spirit of Malouen X is now asking €6,1000,000

Since her launch, Spirit of Malouen X underwent an extensive refit to improve her performance, with works including a two-metre extension. She has been constantly upgraded and used for cruising in the Mediterranean and racing on the inshore Maxi Circuit as well as offshore events, including the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s RORC600 in the Caribbean. Notably, in 2022, she was the winner of the Maxi Class at Les Voiles de St Tropez.

As with all Wally builds, minimalism is the order of the day both on deck and down below. Flush teak decks, complemented by a guest cockpit amidships, invite guests and crew to stretch their legs both while at rest and while cruising along in a stiff breeze.

The interior is beautifully finished, with proper attention paid to lighting and accommodation for an owner’s party of six in three cabins and quarters for a crew of four. The master double and two guest twins also benefit from hidden lighting to avoid upsetting night vision. Elsewhere, the galley is large enough for the chef to cater for a full racing crew or family and friends cruising.

A single 300hp Diemaxx engine offers the DNV-classed 89GT yacht for sale with a cruising speed of seven knots.

Lying in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Spirit of Malouen X is now asking €6,100,000.
