With striking lines by Officina Italiana Design and interiors by Lissoni & Partners, AIDA is a standout example of Sanlorenzo’s SX88 series — where explorer edge meets the comfort and style of a flybridge model. At 27 metres, she offers a continuous main deck, a fully enclosed flybridge helm with retractable windows, and a spacious, multi-use aft deck. Triple Volvo IPS drives and a shallow draft make her ideal for island cruising and perfectly at home in the waters of South Florida.
An expansive aft deck spans two levels: the main deck features an al fresco dining area, while the lower level serves as a large, open beach club. This flexible space includes a transformer-style hydraulic swim platform that lowers into the water or raises to form a passerelle. A custom swim ladder can also be transformed into a passerelle, and a davit allows for swift tender launch and recovery. When the tender is deployed, the area transforms into a spacious beach club.
The flybridge is equally adaptable. The helm station can be fully enclosed, with side windows that open or close at the touch of a button to switch between air conditioning and natural ventilation. An electric-blade opening hardtop adds further flexibility, while the aft section offers a modular sun lounge shaded by an awning.
At the bow, a forward seating area shaded by a bimini and complemented by sunpads provides a peaceful retreat.
Lissoni & Partners envisioned the SX88 interior as a "floating loft," removing traditional partitions to create a continuous, open-plan main deck framed by near floor-to-ceiling windows. On AIDA, this vision comes to life in a bright, inviting salon featuring two expansive side windows, a chaise lounge, sofa, and a large flatscreen television. A floating staircase subtly divides the salon from the dining area without disrupting the sense of openness.
Forward on the main deck, the dining space is bathed in natural light and includes a bar and coffee station. The galley is accessed separately via a dedicated crew entrance, ensuring privacy for guests and efficiency for service, while additional refrigeration supports extended stays.
AIDA accommodates eight to ten guests across four cabins: a full-beam master suite, a VIP, and two guest cabins. New carpeting in the master and VIP adds a fresh layer of comfort to the custom interior.
Crew accommodation has also been upgraded to allow for four rather than three members of crew, ensuring a higher standard of service and attention for guests. A washer and dryer in the guest area enhances day-to-day practicality and support longer stays on board.
AIDA is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS3 1050 engines, each producing 800hp for a combined output of 2,400hp. She reaches a top speed of 23 knots and cruises comfortably between 18 and 20 knots. Her shallow draft makes her particularly well suited to the islands of the Bahamas and the waters of South Florida, while zero-speed stabilisers ensure comfort at anchor.
