Named for the brightest star in the constellation of Auriga, prestigious 59m explorer yacht CAPELLA C has been guiding sailors safely across the globe since her delivery in 1968. Built by Scheepswerf Gebr. Pot as an auxiliary hydrographic vessel for the Royal Dutch Navy, CAPELLA C was then used as a pilot vessel in Rotterdam Harbour before her conversion to a luxury expedition yacht in 1985.
Presented for sale in impeccable condition, CAPELLA C’s reinvention as an explorer yacht saw her retain her classic 60’s profile with the addition of a host of modern features ensuring she is capable of circumnavigating the world in complete comfort. Her latest refit was carried out in 2017 and included the addition of a full size helicopter deck plus a redesign of her exterior decks with space to carry two 9 metre tenders.
